The Last Question...
Yeeeah I know what you're thinking it's all black and white and boring and really the only interesting thing about this post is the wonderfully crafted facial hair the speccy mad scientist has in the picture but please read on...
I read this short sci-fi masterpiece after on recommendation from a friend of mine (matty) who found it on Digg a while back (probably a good few years ago now) Its by a writer named Isaac Asimov who is widly regarded as the greatest Sci-fi writer of all time and reading this its not hard to see why!
Its a very short story and is great for a shortish trek to work on the train of something (will probably take little over half an hour to complete).
Make the effort... its got a great ending... BUT, you MUST obey this one single rule if you decide to read it... DO NOT SKIP TO THE END OR EVEN TRY TO READ THE NEXT FEW LINES FURTHER AT THE END... YOU MUST READ IT PROPERLY OR YOU WILL WASTE IT!!
enjoy, and errr without sounding too Matrixy... free your mind...
Isaac Asimov - The Last Question
It has been transferred to an great graphic novel which you can see HERE but I found the text too small to actually see so I'd suggest the 1st link...
